EDF Energy Renewables has sold a majority stake in three of its UK onshore wind farms to China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN). EDF Energy Renewables said it would use the cash generated to make further investments in renewable projects in the UK.
The wind farms are Green Rigg, rated at 36MW and 22 miles north-west of Newcastle upon Tyne; Rusholme, 24.6MW and sited15 miles south-east of York; and Glass Moor II,12.3MW and sited six miles south-east of Peterborough.
