Two companies in default at BSC

UPDATED: on 16 December BSC said Home Energy Trading’s default had been rectified
Two further companies, Home Energy Trading and Delta Gas and Power, are in default of their obligations under the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC) and are barred from taking on new customer accounts.
Delta was previously put on notice to meet BSC obligations in September. It is currently subject to a final order from Ofgem, issued on 29 October, that requires it to make outstanding Reneweables Obligation payments, plus interest. It is required to pay £381,030.
However on 18 October 2021 the regulator cancelled plans for a final order on Home Energy Trading, after the company made full payment of its Renewables Obligation for 2020-2021 on 5 October, including all applicable interest.
