RES sells third Northern Ireland wind farm project to ERG

RES has sold Corlacky Hill wind farm to ERG UK Holding Ltd, a company owned by European wind energy producer ERG. The project will consist of 11 turbines with an expected total installed capacity of up to 47 MW, located near Swatragh.
It is the third project in Northern Ireland where RES and ERG have been partners, following the sale and construction of Craiggore and Evishagaran. RES is providing asset management services to ERG for both operational projects and has been awarded the construction and asset management support agreements for Corlacky Hill.
Lucy Whitford, UK&I Managing Director, RES, commented: “In Northern Ireland, RES has developed and/or constructed twenty-two onshore wind farms equating to over a quarter of Northern Ireland’s onshore wind capacity and has a record of using local companies to develop, construct and operate renewable energy projects.
We are thrilled to have reached agreement with ERG for Corlacky Hill Wind Farm. The sale represents our growing relationship and combined investment in renewables, consolidating our common efforts to deliver affordable zero carbon energy and sustain local communities. We look forward to starting construction and helping ERG in managing the wind farm when it becomes operational.”
