Moneysupermarket: Energy switching ‘unlikely to recover in 2023′

The energy switching market is unlikely to recover in 2023, according to Moneysupermarket.
In a first-quarter trading update the switching service said ” Whilst we launched our first fixed energy tariff since October 2021 at the end of March, it was a limited size collective deal that will have no material impact on revenue. We still do not expect a significant energy switching market in 2023”.
However the switching site saw a 5% increase in home services in the quarter (such as boiler servicing), which saw revenue increase to £9.6 million from £9.1 million in the quarter in 2022.
