London Stadium ready take forward plans for PV roof

A £3 million contract is up for grabs to install a solar PV membrane on the roof of the London Stadium, in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The solar generation plan at the 66,000 seat stadium, now home to West Ham United, was first announced in March this year, when London Stadium said it aimed to begin generation at the end of 2024. The project aims to generate 3GWh annually and it has already been the subject of a £60,000 feasibility study.
The contract will be with a Mayoral Development Corporation, the
London Legacy Development Corporation, which was established in April 2012.
