Vattenfall Network Services is offering businesses fully financed solar PV, which it claims will reduce electricity costs to less than 7p per kWh over 25 years without upfront capital investment.
The company is looking for businesses with 2000m2 of roof or land space available. For such companies it is offering the funding and expertise to manage the process.
The host company receives 100% of the electricity from the solar PV from installation and pays a monthly fee to Vattenfall, which handles technical and commercial responsibilities during the contract term.
After 10 years, ownership of the solar PV is transferred to the host company.
