Will energy customers take control of the industry in future?

The British Institute of Energy Economics (BIEE) is looking at the role of customers in the energy sector in a forthcoming conference and it wants contributions from a wide range of NGOs, industry, analysts, policymakers – and customers – as well as academics.

Paper suggestions should be submitted by 1 March and can be academic papers, experience or practical case studies. They can comment on current energy policy, economics or finance issues.

The conference asks whether consumers are at the heart of the future energy system and it will be held in Oxford on 18-19 September.
